Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park Hotel, Shanghai

I enjoyed my stay overall at this hotel, especially with its central location that made exploring Shanghai easy. The staff provided excellent service, accommodating our requests quickly. However, the rooms felt a bit older and could use a refresh, and while the dining options were decent, they didn't quite meet my expectations. Overall, it’s great value for the money, especially for a business trip.

While the location was excellent and offered easy access to transport and shopping, the service and dining aspects left much to be desired. The cleanliness of the rooms was a highlight, but I encountered issues during breakfast that impacted my overall experience.

My stay was enjoyable, with clean and comfortable rooms, and the staff was very attentive and helpful, especially FD Phil who ensured I received a nice room upgrade. However, there were issues with the room amenities such as delayed hot water and a lengthy power outage, which overshadowed some of the positives. The hotel is conveniently located near a mall with plenty of dining and shopping options, making it easy to explore the area.
